Memory Bank

Women remember everything. I mean everything. Their minds are like huge computers in an attractive body. Women remember dates, times, places, situations and the words people say. Boy, do they remember words guys say (especially husbands).
Guys, have you ever used the wrong words around women? Yup, me too. The bad thing is that ladies will remember the wrong words a looooooong time.

Women remember dates amazingly. I would say most ladies for example, is a human date memory bank. She remembers the date of our first date, first kiss, first time I called her my first wife's name.

When Haroon and I got married, we got married on 12/13/09. At that point, i joked, "If you forget our anniversary, then nothing will be more worse" so that was fun.

Guys can't remember much of anything. Post-it notes are a god send for guys, but then computer monitors become expensive Post-it Note posting frames. Men still forget, because they can't carry the monitors around. Sure, they could type in notes on their Smartphones, but they're too busy checking Facebook.

What is your experience with Memory?

A Gone Soul

I had a sad weekend. My uncle died this Friday eve. It was really a loss for me. A nice person on earth had gone.
He was my father's friend as well. They used to do morning walk every single day together. Uncle used to come and meet us at our home carrying a very sweet smile on his face. Whenever i greeted him he used to pat my cheeks and my head with affection. He was not only nice to us, in fact he was nice to every other person whom he met. I also use to went my aunt's home and meet him too. He always welcomed me with smiling face. When my father was ill and he could not drop me at office, then he used to take me to office with him. We used to talk during the visit on different issues, specially political issues. He was more like my father.
But now he is no more and left only memories to remember for his family and everyone including me. His grand child's birthday was coming and he was also writing a poem for him as a gift. Alas! He could not complete that poem and could not see his little champ read it out before him with his gleaming happy eyes. I could not hide back my tears while reading that diary of  him.
The world will be as it was always. Nothing will stop due to his death. His family will also start their life in a new way soon without him. They will also get used to live without him. Nothing will be suffered due to a gone life. This is reality and this is the fate of a human life.

Every soul which has come has to leave this world some day.
May God rest his soul in peace.

Happy Times

Our first lunch together after being Husband & Wife... Haroon ordered finger fish with sauce and i ordered chicken sandwiches (being cheapest item in menu, i didn't want my hubby to spend a lot)

Come live with me and be my Love

Dedicated to my love and my fiancee "Haroon"

Come live with me and be my love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
That valleys, groves, hills and fields,
Woods or steepy mountain yields.
And we will sit upon the rocks,
Seeing the shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers to whose falls
Mellodious birds sing madrigals.
And I will make thee bed of roses
And a thousand fragrant posies,
A cap of flowers and a kirtle
Embroidered all with leaves of myrtle;
A gown made of the finest wool
Which from our pretty lambs we pull;
Fair lined slippers for the cold,
With buckles of the purest gold;
A belt of straw and ivy buds,
With coral clasps and amber studs;
And if these pleasures may thee move,
Come live with me and be my love.
The shepherds ' swains shall dance and sing
For thy delight each May morning;
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then live with me and be my love.

Beauty of Nature

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

August Arrival

So on my way to work this morning, I was listening to NRP essay about how the month of august is morphing from the august we knew into something entirely different. I feel exactly the same way as commentator Frank DeFord:

"So August was a nice respite. We needed August. Then things changed. First, Everybody started going back to school before Labour Day. Who'd ever heard of such a thing?"

Ever wish you had written what someone else did? Thats me with the DeFord essay.

Anyway, what does August recall to you?
